Dr. Heidi Wierman has been a practicing Geriatrician at Maine Medical Center since 2002. She is currently the division director for Geriatrics and Medical Director for Elder Care Services at MaineHealth. Dr. Wierman is also is the medical director for the Acute Care for Elders Unit and Hospital Elder Life Program at MMC where she uses her passion to prevent complications of hospitalization for older adults. She is clinically active at the Geriatric Center at Maine Medical Center, an outpatient facility, where she works with individuals and their families as part of an interdisciplinary team to navigate the challenges of memory loss and other aging issues.
